Exteriors by Design, Inc. dba: California Commercial Roofing Systems is a second generation roofing corporation with 65 years of experience in the roofing industry. We specialize in commercial and industrial roofing only. We install, maintain, and repair thermoplastic membranes, fluid applied systems and hot and cold built up systems. We also install tile and metal roofing in a commercial setting application.

Each building and roof structure presents its own unique needs and challenges. We believe that we have a system which will not only fit your budget, but will also protect your assets.

Approved installers of nearly every roofing and waterproofing system on the market today. We perform services on every type of building, including but not limited to, food processing plants, health care facilities, cold storage, packing houses, state and federal municipal facilities, retail, and manufacturing plants. We own all of the equipment requred to perform the projects we contract, this assures the best in maintenance on every piece of equipment which makes down-time due to mechanical failure almost non existant.

California Commercial Roofing Systems hold California State Contractors License #567467, Class B and C-39. We are members of the National Roofing Contractors Association as well as Locall Association. We are a California corporation and carry $2,000,000.00 in general liability and workers compensation on every employee. (our umberella can be easily extended to $5,000,000.00) Our bondng capacity is over $2,000,000.00.

We employ approximately 50 people, consisting of specialty crews in roofing and waterproofing as well as administrative support personnel in our two offices. We provide 24/7 leak call service for our valued customers. We roof large as well as small buildings. The largest projects ever completed was over eight acres of building and some projects we have successfully completed many projects in excess of a million dollars.

There are two offices to service our customers, the Northern California office is located in Tulare and the Southern California office is located in Ventura. We are able to offer extended manufacturers waranties, up to 30 years.





Approved Applicator...

In order to provide extended warranties by manufacturers on commercial projects, the manufacturer must approve the installer. In most cases this title is given after:

  • Extensive training by the manufacturer
  • Successful completion of several projects
  • Demonstrated financial stability
  • Number of years fo the contractor has been in business.
